The side of the road in the park is lined with cobblestones. Haven’t seen them for a few weeks because of the falling leaves. But the park is getting a clean up so here they are again.

A cold clear day in November and there is always a photograph. I always tell students in classes not to just look out and around, but to look down and up. A bare tree with the last few remaining leaves is nicely silhouetted against a blue November sky.

As the flowers in the Rose Garden die away all that’s left is dead rose buds and flowers. The place will look bare over the next few months.
